Situation

Bonnie and John decided to move to a condo for a simpler life. This meant that they would need to sell the family home. What to do? They were reluctant to pay traditional REALTOR® commissions so they tried Comfree. And why not? The argument to do so was strong. Comfree sells access to many of the same tools that REALTORS® use so it should be easy to sell they thought. Their thinking was that all they needed was an MLS listing and a few open houses and the home will be sold.

Unfortunately, the home languished on the market for months. They had lots of visitors but no offers. They then chose a traditional well known local expert. Surely this time the home would be sold. Nothing. According to Bonnie and John they had even fewer visitors and no feed back from the REALTOR® at all.

Eventually Bonnie and John started to look for alternatives. They wanted a service provider that would give them a great result, but they also wanted to avoid traditional real estate commissions if possible. The flat fee program offered by Ambergate Realty Advisors was the obvious choice.

Result

The team at Ambergate Realty Advisors started to market the home and several offers were received. Eventually an offer was negotiated that was acceptable to Bonnie and John. The sale will close shortly.
