Why Did I Choose Ambergate Realty Advisors?
As Stuart said, I listed our home on Kijiji and after having about three interested inquiries, realized that none of these were turning out, it was going to take more time than I wished to invest, not pleased with our recent realtors, I was considering using ComFree, when Stuart called and offered the same pricing as ComFree.
My belated spouse was from Wales UK. Stuart had a similar accent and offered his condolences, listened and mentioned the same pricing as ComFree Option. Stuart asked if and when he could call back, and I mentioned in a week or so, and he listened and did just as I asked. When he called back, I just happened to be going by a phone without call display or I probably wouldn't have answered (lol), as by this time other Realtors had been calling based on my Kijiji Ad and I had not decided further yet.

The pricing, options of how to sell with Ambergate, clear pricing up-front, and lastly, the spiritual aspect behind the name of Ambergate (healing and transition were definitely where myself and our family were at since my spouse passed away a year earlier).
From the onset of the first phone call, I felt part of the Ambergate Team; that I was in charge of the process, and the Ambergate Team were there to offer encouragement, knowledge, guidance, and assistance if and when required. Stuart was compassionate, offered the right amount of guidance if/as needed. Highlights were the first meeting, wherein the $3000 package was agreed upon (when he could have taken the $5000 package offer I had thought/emailed prior to our meeting), as well as mentioning at the end of the meeting if we could start referring my home to a house (at first I thought this odd; however, it started the healing-transition process. Also, I was offered two different approaches to deciding what asking price to start with; a lower price hoping for competitive buyers or fair market value and lower if/as market reflected/I chose.
True to their word, I received home market analysis reports regularly; offering me the information I required to drop the sale price of my house if/when needed in order to meet my goal of selling it prior to winter. Laurie, Stuart's Assistant, sent me regular information and texts if/as prospective buyers wished to view the house.
When the offers started coming in, Stuart was able to decline low ones based on our knowledge of working with one another prior (conversations held as Market Analysis Reports came in, and we discussed new strategies/pricing). When the final offer came in, we worked very well together to get the best price and possession date for both the buyer and seller. Ambergate Realty offered professional assistance and resources for Home Measurement Companies, Real Property Report Companies, Home Staging, and Lawyer; however, not changing the level of service they provided me whether I chose companies from their resources or ones of my own. Ambergate Realty also offered assistance for purchase of my new home, and again, when I decided to utilize my own options for this, they retained the same level of relationship with me
I am very pleased I chose Ambergate Realty Advisors for the sale of our family home, and would do so again! I found Stuart professional, kind, knowledgeable and informative. He had the right amount of tact, patience, empathy, and was 'the voice of reason if/where needed - when I got emotional'.
