I follow the teachings of the folks at Ninja selling. They don’t have a magic bullet as to how to instantly win more clients, but they do provide a lot of information regarding how to conduct yourself. Larry Kendal released a podcast this week and he suggests we use the incoming 5G phenomena as a prompt for governing ourselves. You may be aware that the 5G (5th generation) network is the next big thing in terms of the internet related world.
Here are Larry’s 5G’s. I thought it was good.
Gratitude – Grateful people are nicer to be around. They are calmer and more giving. Do you focus more on what you want over, that which you already have?
Goals – As Larry puts it, goals are the rocket fuel that keeps you going. As an alternative why not think about your 3 daily regrets. 3 regrets can help you cut out the noise and do what is most important. Here’s a link to a blog I wrote about that recently The Power of Your 3 Regrets
Grit- Hang in there. Grit is the determination to follow through and satisfy your goals or regrets. The stronger your vision, goal or regrets, the more robust is your grit. In our business you need grit to manage sometimes difficult client’s and to win new ones.
Grace – One definition is to be polite honest and fair. Wouldn’t you rather deal with someone who behaved this way? It’s not always easy. Clients get upset. Other REALTORS® press your buttons, (sometimes on purpose) but perhaps a state of grace should be your default?
Giving - Money flows to value. The more you give in terms of value to others, the more you receive. Every time you interact with a client or prospect, try to leave something behind, an insight, a piece of information, a suggestion that will put your client or prospect in a better place.
Do you live your life on purpose or go with the flow? Consider living in 5G mode. It could make all the difference.
