Nayyar and Uzma were presented with an opportunity to move to Texas with Nayyar’s employer. They had purchased their Cumberland home in 2016 and therefore had not built up any equity. Vacant homes are normally a challenge to sell. We realized that due to COVID, vacant homes would suddenly become the most sought after and we managed our marketing communications accordingly.
Within a reasonable we had created 4 offers from prospective buyers. Most were too low, but one was just right.
We sold Nayyar and Uzma’s home in around 90 days, for 99 % of the asking price and saved them more than $5,000 in commissions.
