What happens after that first 2 weeks?

The honeymoon is over.

Most often, you will see the numbers of showings drop off and if you do get an offer, it will likely be much more aggressive, ie buyers will be asking you to accept an offer on their terms, not yours. Prospective buyers will often make an offer with a large discount built in if your home has been languishing on the market for some time.
