Nick McLean a team lead, writer and coach in the USA published an interesting article recently in which he talked about the 4 levels of REALTORS®.
It made a lot of sense to me. Here is a summary:
In the real estate world, REALTORS® can be categorized into four levels based on their skills and networks:
Level 1: These REALTORS® primarily assist their friends and acquaintances, but they may not actively seek out homes for them. They mainly focus on arranging property showings.
Level 2: REALTORS® at this stage also work with friends, family, and referrals. They help clients find homes, often through online searches, and share listings with buyers.
Level 3: At this level, REALTORS® expand their client base by reaching out to potential clients who are looking for homes online, but don't have a REALTOR®. They bridge the gap between strangers and professional relationships and continue to help clients find suitable properties.
Level 4: The highest level of REALTORS® primarily serve people they don't know, thanks to multiple lead sources. They stand out for their strong work ethic and exceptional skills in finding off-market properties. Their networks play a crucial role in their success.
