However, if local experts ever truly existed, the internet made them redundant years ago.
The internet and social media has completely changed the way that homes are bought and sold.
We suggest you look for a real estate company that knows how to find ALL buyers for your home.
A firm that employs a comprehensive home selling process and employs a team of professionals. This approach and extensive use of social media to include: Facebook, Instagram, Google and Twitter will outperform the old-fashioned REALTOR® very time.
If the local expert can demonstrate that they effectively use all these tools, then you should hire them.
If not, you might want to look elsewhere.
Of course, these tools when combined with a comprehensive market program is going to work anywhere. The most effective best real estate brokerages don’t focus on one neighborhood but sell homes, right across the market.
Oh, and by the way. The internet has also made it LESS EXPENSIVE to provide real estate services.
